WRITER

Writing became a must for Eve, when certain unique stories kept coming to her mind, so she just had to get them out on pen and paper. While studying at university, she learned the way in which screenwriting, differed from other forms of literature and working on numerous stories via Final Draft, helped her hone her craft as a scriptwriter.
She is currently conducting research to begin writing her latest feature film, which is based on a true story. This will be her tenth script.
She aims to create and tell original stories, looking from alternate perspectives. Giving a voice to the unheard is a big part of that!
In addition, her love does lie in sci-fi and period dramas, although to dabble in all genres, is her goal.

WHEN THE WAR WAS WON

...She pulls away from him, the ash has disappeared. She looks up into his eyes with the innocence of a child.

                        CLARA

                 Is it over now?

He strokes her cheek.

                        JAMES

                 Yes.

The Dark Figure appears once more, fully seen now.

                        DARK FIGURE

                 James?

James and Clara still look at each other.

                        DARK FIGURE

You need to follow me James,
                 we must keep going.

James does not budge.

                        DARK FIGURE

She isn’t real James. The real
                 Clara is somewhere else right
now. She’s just a figment of
                 your imagination.

James strokes her cheek again.

                        JAMES

                 But she feels so real...

Clara mouths the words: ‘I love you’ and smiles sweetly.

                        DARK FIGURE

I know… The mind can play tricks
on us some times, but ultimately
                 we can control it.

James and Clara's foreheads slowly touch as they close their eyes. As the Doctor passes, Clara disappears and James stands straight. His hands relaxes back to his sides.
